I wouldn't characterize these as super-soakers. They are small and need to be refilled often. Fine for my 4 year old and his young friends but I would imagine that older kids would want something they can use for longer periods at a time and that actually soak their opponents

Best compact water pistol on the market
Was looking for a simple water pistol to train my new kitten. Everything I bought either leaked, stopped working or broke into pieces. I returned everything I could and was about to give up. I was reluctant to buy the Super Soaker Zip Fire mainly because I wanted just one pistol, but after reading the reviews I figured it was worth a shot (no pun). This water pistol is amazing. An easy pull of the trigger delivers a short powerful burst with stunning accuracy. I can and have hit my kitty in the rump from 15 to twenty feet without making a watery mess on any floor or furniture. ( Naturally you wouldn't hit any pet in the face especially at close range.) I routinely store it fully loaded on my dresser or in a drawer and it has never leaked a drop. The two additional guns made nice gifts to pet owning friends. Good quality squirt guns
Worth the extra you end up paying since they are much nicer than what you'll usually find out there. With a little initial direction from you, kids can fill themselves if they submerge it in a drinking pitcher, without nagging you every couple of minutes like the standard ones require. The end where you fill can be pulled off by kids, but luckily they go back on pretty easily. Other than that, they're awesome, and yes, I would buy again.
