Case fits the device well, offers good grip, and doesn't make the ipad big and bulky. I use a TechArmor screen protector and this case, rather than a smartcover or other folio type product. I haven't dropped the ipad but it seems like it would protect from certain kinds of accidents. Already own a similar Speck Candyshell case for iphone and have been very happy with that.
