This campaign is about boycotting companies that pay HALAL CERTIFICATION FEES. Often the halal status of a company is hidden, every time you purchase a halal certified product, you make a small donation to a religion that you might not want to be part of and the end beneficiary of this money is yet to be disclosed. The Halal business raises trillions of Dollars world wide, this is often being funded by non Muslims without their knowledge or consent.
Halal certification authorities often use a charity status thus dodging full UK tax.
Muslims are free in the UK to consume and purchase halal certified products, equally non Muslims should be afforded the same freedom of choice, this App is able to show you what is and what isn't halal certified.
It is not racists, bigoted or anti Muslim to not want to eat halal certified products, just as it is not racist, bigoted or anti Western to not want to eat Non Halal products - its about simple choice and every human being should be given this right regardless of religious stance or ethnicity.
