Uber & Lyft employ more state lobbyists than Walmart, Amazon, and Microsoft combined. The ride-hailing giants have passed laws throughout the country to pre-empt city governments from regulating the environmental harm, traffic nightmares, and worker exploitation that they impose on residents.
We are not calling for a boycott of the rideshare giants just yet. We are asking residents who want to see justice in the ride-hailing industry to join our campaign and take collective action to clean up transportation mess that the for-profit ride-hailing companies are leaving in their wake.
