This campaign is a grassroots attempt to list all US based commercial seed companies who either use GMOs or are owned by monsanto (
BOYCOTT) , or companies and brands that have signed the Safe Seed Pledge
http://www.councilforresponsiblegenetics.org/ViewPage.aspx?pageId=261 and promise not to use GM seed in which they sell to consumers(
BUYCOTT). This list will hopefully become as strong and supported as the fight to end GMOs has become, and will provide home gardeners, schools, and curious individuals witha clear view into the businesses and companies that are for versus against GM seed.
You will notice some seed companies listed may have a "safe Seed Pledge" listed on their website, or state they do not use GMO seeds. However, they are owned by Monsanto or Seminis, who are affiliated with Monsanto. These companies, while GM free (or claiming to be), are still putting money into the pockets of GM distributors, which is why they are on the boycott list. You must dig deeply to discover where your money really goes, so if you don't mind sending hard earned dollars toward the enemy, then this campaign might not be for you. If you wish to be informed of any and all companies which essentially are owned or feeding the giants of GM production, then join up today!
(Some companies aren't listed, due to the search engines here not recognizing the smaller company names. If these search issues are resolved, I will add the company names promptly. For more extensive lists you can search for on your own time until then, search inside the belly of the beast:

If you'd like to go a step further in refusing to line Monsanto's pockets in a complete boycott of plants they own, you may want to look into their bought and "trademarked" heirloom and hybrid varieties. Yes, Monsanto has stooped to a new low and begun buying the patented names of certain plant/seed varieties. Many plant favourites under any company name, such as the "black beauty" eggplant, or the "betterboy" tomato, all give earnings to Monsanto for owning the name rights to the plant varieties. For the full list, go to this temporary website (Occupy Monsanto360 was the original publisher of this information, but recently their site hasn't been functioning. This page was the only one I found that lists the seed names from the original source):
