Tillamook creamery sources from megadairies while marketing their product as family businesses. They source from Three Mile Canyon Farm, the only megadairy in Oregon, which produces more waste than all people in Oregon combined, resulting in a 40 acre cesspool. In April, 2017, another supplier dairy called Tony Silverado Dairy, released 190,000 gallons of manure into Tillamook Bay, causing the closure of the bay.

Pilgram's Pride is currently being sued for clean water violations in Florida and was one of the biggest violators of the Clean Water Act in Texas for years now as well. There have also been OSHA violations involving workers losing fingers and their lives in the company's different locations.
