    I had an old Mapex steel snare with a worn out strainer and a rusty butt plate. This really dressed up the snare and enhanced its appearance while also giving me a butt plate with drum key tightening screws. These tightening screws make it easy to get it tight enough to be slip proof. This works great with the Gibraltar Deluxe Class Modern Snare Throw-Off.
