worth it

I play blues and I like the tone that says "hey listen to me". Some of my harmonicas I've had for almost ten years and only now am I replacing the reed plates. Try them they are to me worth paying for the quality becuse they sound good, last long and have reed plates you can replace. O by the way I do wail on them so they do get a workout when I play. I don't regret buying them and yes they are my first choice when I think of harmonicas.

Terrible product

I've only bought Lee Oskar reed plates twice. The first time a few years ago and I thought I bought a difficult set and ate the purchase. But this time it's the same junk as the first time. The G reed plates both times have been uncomfortable to play because they are so tight that I become worn out trying to get air in and out and particularly when it comes to trying to get volume out. Frustrating!

I prefer to have almost twice as many working harps at half the cost. Lee Oskar reed plates rock. Still waiting on my set in A major and I'm good to go.

Helps to have a harmonica in tune during a performance. Much cheaper to change out the reed plates and very easy to do.

  • I will always consider buying from Musicians Friend

I should have learned from my first experience with Lee Oskar reed plate only replacement. This time just like the first (a few years ago) the reeds are much too tight and to haveing to use the air and strength to make them sound out (volume) and bend is just not worth buying the reed plates alone or the expense. Very disappointed.

  • Satisfied, but not pleased with only one in stock

Use my D harp more than any other on gigs. Need to replace reed plates regularly; depend on Musician's Friend to have Lee Oskar plates in stock.
