The bag is really built well (I've used other Gator bags as well). It's logical in its set-up (the sticks in one compartment that has three separate slots to handle multiple sticks; the mics stowed in a separate compartment for up to 5 mics that's nicely cushioned to protect them). It has a nice shoulder strap. Two issues (commentary really): 1. The mic storage is at one end, so most of the weight is there & that end of the bag dangles miserably when carried (maybe a solid plastic liner that bridged that collar with the main body would improve this); it could pose a stress on the zippers over time. 2. My mic stands have heavy, weighted bases. There's no way to carry these in the bag, so you must have some sort of carrier for those (something with wheels for me). When I take my full trailer of gear, I have other cases in which to place these, but, when I'm traveling with only a small amount of equipment, this currently makes it awkward. Tripod mic stands would probably fit in the bag on their own, so this might not be an issue for you.

  • Great back for 3 boom mic stands, cords and mic storage .

Had trouble in fitting my stands in my case. Bought this and solved my problems. Has three internal compartments. I coulf fit 2 mic stands in 1, 2 music stands in the other and 1 guitar stand and a drum seat foldable base in the other. Also Could fit 4 mics - you can fit up to 5 - and three 25 ft mic cables, the latter was more difficult. For obvious reasons the drum seat and the music sheet holders have to go in my case, not here. Keep in mind that all the weight will be in your shoulder. Would be nice if had 2 wheels. May be is the same than the generic, which has lower price but i decided to go with the brand. Its large but fit in my sedan trunk.
