    Ernie Ball Bass Strings

Okay. If you don't get your bass set up right with these strings, you're gonna be the guy that writes a one star review on an awesome product. If you set it up right, these strings are GREAT. I just picked these up at a GC today and got it set up by a luthier. They have a great metallic sound in the high end, and they can crank out the low end rumble we bassists love. I highly recommend them.

    These Strings Suck!

For years I have used Fender, Dadarrio, or Dean Markley bass strings. I normally do not use Ernie Ball strings. The quality always seemed to be cheap. Turns out I was correct. I was lured in by the Cobalt hype and so I forked over the money to try a pair of my first Ernie Ball strings. Within minutes of having the strings on my bass the A string broke. I was not even playing that aggresive to begin with. I am very dissapointed with the quality of these strings. Thus I will not ever buy another set of Ernie Ball strings again nor will I recommend these to anyone else.

Ernie Ball makes great strings and these are no exception. They have a lot of flex action and last a long time. #sweepstakes

I have always just played my bass with whatever strings come with the bass. I put a set of these on an old bass with a set up. the difference is earth shattering.
