    You won't be disappointed by this CD from Andre Rieu. He brings new life to best-loved Christmas carols and songs while also introducing us to some less-familiar, but very beautiful, Christmas songs.

    Personally, this is one of my favorite relaxing Christmas CDs, though some of the songs do have a more up-beat tempo, which is nice too. Really, this CD is what you've come to expect from Andre Rieu-taking well-known songs and causing you to experience them in a whole new way.

    If you want a beautiful, adult christmas "album"/CD, choose this one. The arrangements are awesome. White Christmas, Jesu Bambino, Ave Maria, Still Still Still - all beautifully orchestrated. Enjoy!!!

    This CD 'Stille Nacht' or 'Mein Weihnachts' is a delight from the opening tolling church bells and glad fanfare of Handel's 'Tocher Zion' to the closing 'Stille Nacht'. There are medleys that include Christmas favourites from all over Europe and the selection includes Gloria In Excelsis Deo, Il Est Ne Le Divin Enfant, O Tannenbaum, The Little Drummer Boy, Guten Abend, Gute Nacht, an upbeat Jingle Bells, Ave Maria, Winter (Largo), White Christmas, Sleigh Ride, Adeste Fideles and The Holy City.

    This is such a delightful CD that I have also bought the DVD version 'Christmas with Andre Rieu' (NTSC/0 Region free)and it is a magnificent evocation of the perfect child's Christmas in a glorious setting. These two will surely form part of our family's christmas traditions from now on.
