We have a new mission – to own the backyard. We want to get kids off the screens and back outside so that they can experience the same passion for outdoors that we did while growing up. Remember when we had to get back home for dinner because the street lights came on? Kids these days don’t know that rule. We’re doing our best to change that!
-
How did we get our start?
In the early 1900's, George Hansburg formed Flybar, Inc. which has since become the world's largest pogo stick manufacturer. Flybar has sold over 25 million pogo sticks in nearly every country worldwide.
What have we been up to?
Flybar has continued to expand. In addition to pogo sticks, we offer foam pogo hoppers, trick boards, animal hoppers, hopper balls, ride-on vehicles, skateboards, scooters, safety gear, sleds, preschool toys and more.
Why do we love what we do?
We believe in healthy, active play and want to bring joy and smiles for generations to come.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 14, 2020I have to say the pogo is impressive in appearance and appears to be solid however the one my daughter received while on quarantine and bought herself at a hefty 140 is not usable. The handle bars or grips or whatever you want to call them will not tighten. Only two of the four bolts will snug down and the grips are loose. I will not let her use it and she agrees. Hopefully the issue will be resolved. I am only writing this review because in the time of covid 19 when people are eager to work and children are locked in at home the fact that they sent a defective product out is a little sad. I will update if anything changes. Thanks for reading. Update! We contacted Flybar directly and they immediately responded to us and are sending us a new replacement pogo. That's amazing customer service. We will be purchasing from them again!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2014If you're like me and want to rekindle your youth.. and you weigh 170-200 lbs, this is the place to start.
It has cheezy lightning bolt stickers on it that were peeling when I got it, which I loved.. it has a 'you did it yourself' appeal... It is something I would've done as a child.
Anyway, the spring rate is good for me at 194 lbs. The handlebar flips up or down. The tightening screws seem easy to strip so be careful. The foot pegs are excellent, very strong and big. It isn't too loud, but it makes some noise.. as anything would when big person jumps up and down. The rubber foot is very good at not marring hardwood floors and provides good grip for moving sideways and such. There is a limit of course.
You will get a workout on this stick. 3-4 minutes is about my limit currently. You can vary the amount of spring/jump you want to do and keep it easy.. but I tend to forget that and do big bounces.
Getting back on a pogo was like riding a bicycle for me... It was like I was doing it yesterday even thought it was 30 years ago the last time I did it.
It seems like it'll last a long time. The shipping carton is a little light on protection so it moves around a LOT in transit. The foot pegs came through the box and the stickers got messed up.. but no dents or scratches. It's a durable toy and I think it'll survive a few crashes with no issue.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2020I bought this as a fun way to lose some weight. I am an adult female about 5’5 and 230 lbs with impeccable balance ( former athlete let myself go 😞). I was surprise and how firm the spring was on this product. I enjoyed myself for a couple of days on it, and thought I had finally found something sturdy and heavy duty enough for me and my family. Unfortunately we ran into problems with the handle bars being loose on the second day of use. Despite the durability of the rest of the product, the company seems to have taken short cuts with the screws that hold the handle bars. Two of the Small Allen wrench screws had already stripped the inside and couldn’t be tightened. We did a self fix by modding with our own larger bolts and that seems to have done the trick. I am disappointed because the rest of the product was very well made. We will continue to use it before the return window closes and see if it comes loose again. The larger bolts seem to be holding
Can a person over 200 lbs use this ?
Yes but the handle bar design is poorly made and you need to be sure it is tight every time before use.
Worth the money ?
This is a good entry level pogo if you want to get into extreme pogo. But if you are really serious you might want to get something better like the Vurtego line.
Who can use it ?
Someone under 130 lbs my have a hard time getting it to compress. Larger jumpers even Over 200 lbs can use this.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2010We have family pogo jumping contests with our adult children. The minimum weight limit suggested for this pogo is 80 pounds. I think 100 would be more realistic. The spring is quite stiff -- maybe it will loosen up a little with use. This was a big step up from the "toy" pogo we used to use. We're all amateurs just having fun and our family record is just shy of 1000 jumps. I wish it had a counter on it. The pogo is very well built and will probably be passed down for generations in our family.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2021My son has become an avid pogo stick user over the course of 8 months. He uses it almost everyday and through trial and error we realized he needed a sturdier, more robust pogo stick. As of today, we have gone through four flybar pogo sticks. We started with the Flybar Master, moved up to the Flybar Velocity Pro and when that broke (after 3 months), upgraded to this Flybar Super Pogo 2. After less than a week of use, it is no longer performing well and there are things rattling within the body of the pogo stick. It started with one piece rattling and now my son says it sounds like more things have come loose and have joined the chorus.
When we had the Flybar Master, the Amazon retailer ("Sporting Toys") was unbelievably accommodating and after sending us a replacement, gave us our money back once the replacement broke. For this purchase I had to reach out directly to Flybar. I took time to write an email highlighting how my son has loved using the pogo sticks and how we have chosen to upgrade with Flybar a few times (at our own expense after the previous ones broke very quickly I might add) and how they have had great customer service in the past. I got one line back saying that since I already had a claim with Amazon I should work with them (even though I specifically said that I was reaching out to them first to see how best to proceed). The "customer service" representative couldn't even be bothered to say that they are pleased that my son loves his pogo stick and they're appreciative that we have been such loyal customers and they are sorry that they keep breaking on us. I tried to call Flybar multiple times (including this specific representative) and NO ONE answers their phones. I am putting it back in the box and returning it through Amazon. What a poor excuse for a company.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bueno pero con detalles.
