Hayden Automotive fan clutches are manufactured to ensure performance and durability. Hayden offers thermal and non-thermal clutches as well as well as standard, heavy-duty and severe duty models that meet strict factory guidelines. It is used with lighter pitched fans. They are identified by a smooth steel faceplate and thermal spring assembly on the front side.

      Great fitting assembly, at a great price and shipped fast. I have no complaints so far, at over 1000+ miles. It seemed to go through a short break in period, seemingly engaging and spinning the fan at very low RPMs, resulting in loud audible noise from the engine bay. After a couple weeks it performed as expected, without engaging early and making noise. I also installed a new Cardone Select 55-33418 New Water Pump, also purchased from Amazon. I installed on a 2004 Dodge Dakota 4x4 quad cab w/ 4.7L
