    My daughters have been playing softball for years and have worn every kind of pants put there. The Mizuno Low rise womens pants have always been the ones that last the longest and fit them the most comfortable. They are 5'1" and 5'4" more on the petite side.
    The padding is enough to limit the occasional raspberry and neither girl wears sliding shorts.
