    I got this blade after trying to cut alum stock with the standard abrasive wheel that came with my Porter-Cable 14" chop saw. The abrasive wheel did a very poor job at cutting through the 1" alum stock; melting rather than cutting though the alum stock. This really sucked because I had to do 5-10 minutes of filing with every cut to clean up the mess. With the new blade, the cuts are fast and clean as a whistle! No extra clean up work required. Worth every penny! Say goodbye forever to the abrasive wheel!

    I replaced the stock Evolution "Fury 2" (green) blade with this one. This blade cuts through 3/4" diameter 304SS pipes with ease - like it enjoys slicing through. The cuts are cold to the touch like the Fury 2. The Fury 2 blade is noticeably out-of-balance and as a result it kind of bounces and skips and grinds its way through leaving a very wide kerf. In comparison, this Porter-Cable 14104 blade is well balanced. I did 30-40 cuts with it and no noticeable dulling yet.
    I don't mean to leave the wrong impression of the Fury 2 blade as it is excellent when cutting thick (3.5" diameter) PVC rod, and it is very versatile - it has cut through anything I've tried. However for stainless steel, this P-C is the clear choice.

    I'm sorry to write a bad review. But my expectations of this blade were very high due to the way it was advertised. I used it on about 10 simple mild steel cuts and it already feels like it's wearing too quickly. The price of this blade was just too high for it's " real life" performance. Very unsatisfied and highly disappointed.

    It might be a fine cutting Blade, for some things. I did not like the way it cut, compared to my original blade that came on my Millwalkie cold cut saw. I think it was a endurance 72 tooth blade.
