Works, kind of. The Original Hunter fan comes with a standard bell housing and I needed to mount on a slanted ceiling. The original hunter also comes with a special hanging bracket. When using the hanging bracket that comes with the Hunter Original, the extension in the Bault Ceiling Mount kit is not wide enough to cover the space all the way to the ceiling. There is an optional mounting bracket that comes with the kit but did not seem to work with the original mount pieces.
