    My daughter-in-law, a budding cook, asked for a recipe organizer. I was appalled to see so many that look cheaply made or old-fashioned. Not this one--it's stylishly attractive, solid and very functional. I like how it accommodates so many recipe formats -- clippings, cards or full page recipes.

    The food subject dividers could be a little more detailed, but that's easy to remedy by simply adding your own. Rather than buy additional (and expensive) recipe card pages, I bought Avery brand instead. They make recipe card size Avery Mixed Format Photo Pages, Acid Free, Pack of 10 (13401) and full page protectors (Avery Top Loading Non-Glare Poly Sheet Protectors 100 Count (74102) for half the cost.

    I had it for only one day and the three ring part of it came off of the book. I can probably glue it back, but it's obviously very cheap. That being said, it's cute and I like that I can put either full pages or just the little recipe cards, and I can easily buy more sheet protectors to if I need more from a local store. I also really like the conversion charts in the front, very helpful!

    This cookbook had plenty of room for lots of family reciped. It came with labeled dividers, clear inserts to place the recipe cards and some full page clear inserts. Also, in the front cover of the book, there was a measuring conversion chart. LOVE IT! This was a gift for someone but I will ordering one for myself.
