To be honest, I purchased this album with great trepidation.
I have heard some truly wonderful Pagan music in the past. I have also heard some dreadful, almost painfully bad, Pagan music. But this album surprised me! The songs are varied in style and lyrical content. All of them are beautiful in some way, and quite catchy. All in all, I was quite impressed!
I was also introduced to quite a few Pagan musicians that I had never heard of before. It is always a good thing to expand one's horizons!

I love this music because there is a variety of types/genres, whatever you want to call it. Very good music to work around the house with, work in the garden with or to just sit back and relax.

Or maybe someone had the hiccups.

I'm greatly disappointed. Some of the earlier reviews mentioned this, others said their copies were fine and the music was great, so I took a chance that the problem might have been fixed by the manufacturer. No such luck. Now I'm going to have to try to return it and get my money back.

This could have been an excellent cd. The songs are nice. But whoever did the recording of this certainly never check the quality. I sent the first one back and the second cd was only a tad better. It fades in and out. Some songs are distorted, you can barely understand them. To bad for such good music not to be enjoyed.

There are 2 tracks that dont belong. Most of the music is awesome and I find myself singing it through the day, but Summerland is just bad, I suggest you rip it and erase that song from the playlist.

This CD is a great collection of the best of what pagans can do with their music, a wonderful celebration of life, the goddess and the earth. I was very impressed with the maturity of the music as well as the visions of ritual and gatherings that these tunes invoke. Many thanks to Reclaiming and Friends for sharing their talents.

A classic collection of some of the foremost songs as made popular in the Pagan/Wiccan/New Age movements. One of the few quality recordings available from this era.
