Nice cart
Overall it's a great little cart. I didn't think the screws were an issue like others mentioned, yes they are small but they just hold the trays on to the frame. What I thought was not good, the axle is 1/4 inch too short with all the washers and spacers but I ground the spacers a bit. All good. I also added a cord hanger/handle using c channel and a hanger from Harbour Freight.

Well made cart but do NOT use the sheet metal screws (cheap metal, poor sizing). I drilled mine and used 1/8" bolts & screws to assemble - worked great and will last forever.

This cart fits the Hobart and similar welders. The gas cylinder pylon has chain slots that work together very well to make replacing the gas cylinder a quick convenient job, a welcome change from the time consuming nylon cargo strap type found on several similar products. The cart's generous lower tray has deep enough edges to restrain the wire spools, nozzles, contact tips anti-splatter , MIG pliers and several vise-lock welding clamps that are essential accessories for any MIG welder.
The only shortcoming of this cart appeared after more than a few uses, the small front casters aren't really capable of carrying the weight and the ball bearing swivel post gradually loosens until it suddenly disintegrates. Its not the most common wheel post diameter and post length combination, but there are more competent swivel casters on Amazon to replace them with. Choose a replacement withas much weight bearing capability as may be available. If I had it to do again, I would replace the casters when I first assembled the cart. Hindsight is 20/20 ... Its still the right cart, another $12-15 for better casters is well worth it.

I purchased this cart for my Hobart Handler 140 after seeing it on this site for almost half off. The reviews I read were concerning, but I bought it anyway since most of the complaints were the sheet metal screws it came with. I had no problems during assembly and my welder fits on it perfectly. This is a very nice cart.

Nice stand, enables good use of space, ease of moving the welder around projects. A few screws were undersized & cheap. Replaced with correct hardware out of my stock.
Mr Hobart this is stand has your name on it. Reflects your interest in quality. If I found this quality level on my new Hobart welder it would be returned.

Not a bad cart, but the reason for 3 stars is that the machine screws stripped out. I have an extensive screw bin and I was able to drill out frame and add nice stainless through bolts with acorn nuts to all eight screws. Very sturdy after this upgrade. This would require you to purchase new screws due to poor fastener design. I like the low design. Fits my handler 140 perfect.

I compared carts and I kept coming back to this one because I like the low-profile design. I also like the fact that the top shelf is not angled. The cart went together well, no issues - after reading some of the reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this is a good cart and it fits my Hobart Handler 140 MIG welder very nicely.

This welding cart SHOULD be a winner. It has a relatively thick metal frame and strong sheet metal for the price range. Sadly what it does NOT have however, are correctly-sized sheet metal screws, or the correct number of washers, or even someone competent who has taken the time at the factory to notice these aforementioned items OR that one frame member was substantially bent (off by 1/4” relative to its mated pair.)

This wasn’t a package dropped or otherwise damaged in shipping- that wouldn’t make me
upset, because at least then it did go out the door from the factory with proper QC- which this one obviously did not.

I couldn’t use the eight sheet metal
screws supplied because the holes in the frame were pre-drilled to accept only a #12
(larger) screw and what I was supplied with instead were much smaller #8’s. I used my own self-tapping 1/4” pan heads- which frankly irritates me, because I’m not getting a discount for my own time or hardware on a relatively pricey cart.

After assembly the cart was standing on three of four casters/wheels. I double-checked to see if the screws were somehow tightened in a manner to twist the frame-
It was only then that I could see that the cart had a bent frame member. One was wider than the other by 1/4”.

I had to manhandle the frame to get all the wheels to touch the concrete floor- not a nice feeling when you have a brand new cart with perfect paint and you have to beat it and pry it to get it to stand up straight...

Don’t buy this cart, unless they give it away for free...

I bought this welding cart to hold my MIG welder . I like the low design , which keeps the unit stable, and it's narrow enough to travel around my crowded workshop. The top shelf is approximately level , and does not slant back too far as do some other designs. The steel materials used are surprisingly sturdy , and I have no concerns about it holding up my welder and medium sized tank. The rear wheels are rubber and plastic, but are a unique and very strong design. The front casters are adequate , and swivel on ball bearings. Assembling the unit was a bit frustrating, however. The sheet metal screws provided ( which secure the upper and lower shelves to the square tubings) are undersized and of poor quality, and stripped out quite easily. I had to replace 5 of the 8 sheet metal screws ( #8 screws) with # 12 screws. The existing holes worked ok for the larger screws, if you used a # 2 or # 3 phillips bit mounted in a ratchet wrench. The rear axle was about 3/8 of an inch too short, and I had to grind down the spacers they provided, and use some thinner washers to fit the rear wheels. Doing some custom fitting is not unusual for this type of stamped metal product, and if you have an average workshop or better, you'll get this cart together in about 2 hours with materials on hand. Overall, I'm pleased with this cart.

This thing is junk. Light duty held together with sheet metal screws. You probably own a welder. Just make one.
