Offering a smooth, clean profile with a simple arts and crafts feel, the Tremillo lighting collection from Kichler features double architectural lines of black finish that form sleek perpendiculars and a contrasting satin etched cased opal glass that provides a pleasant ambience to walkway or porch. Pair it with other outdoor lighting fixtures from the Tremillo family, including multiple sizes of wall lanterns plus hanging pendant, flush-mounted, and post-mounted lights.

Marked by a sleek sophistication and well-balanced grandeur, this Tremillo outdoor wall lantern (model 49202BK) measures 17-1/2 inches high, 8-1/2 inches wide, has an extension of 10 inches, and rises 7-1/2 inches from the center of the wall opening. It's constructed out of cast aluminum and uses one medium base A19, 100-watt bulb (maximum; not included). This light is best suited for outdoor use with self-ballasted, compact fluorescent lamps (23-30 watts maximum).

Outdoor wall lights, hanging lights, and post lights combine to bring a unique style to your home while offering the comfort and safety of a well lit home for your family and friends. Heavy, feels substantial.
I was initially skeptical this Kichler brand of lights thinking they were just overpriced, cheap sheet metal lights. I was drawn to the Caterham design, but these Tremillo were half the price. Installation was easy. I ended up having to use a "Commercial Electric 4 in. Offset Swivel Crossbar" to attach the light to my electrical boxes. The supplied mount did not have the slots in the right place and would have made my light angled left or right. The offset swivel allowed me to rotate my light to where it was level/plumb. This style of light fixture was taller than my previous lights and when I went to install the frosted glass box I could not get it to insert without running into my soffit. Luckily I was able to rotate my light enough to slide the glass box into place, then rotate it back. These lights really shine (pun intended) with some Philips Hue Smart 100W A21 LED Bulb - White and Color Ambiance Color-Changing Lights. Using the Philips Hue bridge and phone app you can adjust brightness, color temperature, on/off times, and color. Special Hue effects like "candle glow" add a warm ambiance and pair well with these Kichler light fixtures. There were so many cool looking Kichler designs it was hard to narrow it down to any one style. Photos do not do this light fixture justice, it's much nicer looking in person.

Installation was easy. I ended up having to use a "Commercial Electric 4 in. Offset Swivel Crossbar" to attach the light to my electrical boxes. The supplied mount did not have the slots in the right place and would have made my light angled left or right. The offset swivel allowed me to rotate my light to where it was level/plumb. This style of light fixture was taller than my previous lights and when I went to install the frosted glass box I could not get it to insert without running into my soffit. Luckily I was able to rotate my light enough to slide the glass box into place, then rotate it back.

    These lights really shine (pun intended) with some Philips Hue Smart 100W A21 LED Bulb - White and Color Ambiance Color-Changing Lights. Using the Philips Hue bridge and phone app you can adjust brightness, color temperature, on/off times, and color. Special Hue effects like "candle glow" add a warm ambiance and pair well with these Kichler light fixtures. There were so many cool looking Kichler designs it was hard to narrow it down to any one style. Photos do not do this light fixture justice, it's much nicer looking in person.

    I was initially skeptical this Kichler brand of lights thinking they were just overpriced, cheap sheet metal lights. I was drawn to the Caterham design, but these Tremillo were half the price.     Stunningly crisp and modern fixture. We ordered the entire set for our home in Florida. This size was used beside the garage doors.
    The smaller 12" size was used for a rear facing bedroom with a porch. The pendant was installed in our entry way. We are so very happy with the lights.     Looked at many, many lights and I knew immediately these were the right ones. They are well constructed and look like they will last a long time. The rating for a 75W bulb bothered me a bit as I like brighter lights for outdoors but that problem was solved by buying 100W equivalent dimmable LED lights. Can now set any brightness I want for mood lighting or security lighting. By the way, I'm very impressed by how far LED's have advanced, I picked ones that have the look of incandescent bulbs and it's impossible to tell that they are LED and only use 20 watts of power on full bright.

    Mine looked like they weren't brand new, as if someone returned them and they were resold to me . The wires in the lamp looked like they had been wrapped/unwrapped, the screws had the tiniest bit of wear on them, and the glass on one of the fixtures was a bit scratched/chipped. It is hardly noticeable, which is why I only took one star off.

    Apart from that, installation was a breeze, and the fixtures look amazing. I used two soft white (yellowish) LED bulbs, and so far no issues.

    One thing to note is that these do NOT come with a rubber gasket for weatherproofing where it connects with the wall. You need to use silicone/caulking to seal it up properly to avoid letting water in the electrical box.

    Bought this several months ago as it was a 'second' from a seller other than Amazon. Opened the box and it appeared to be in original packaging & looked fine. MY mistake that I didn't take it completely out. Our garage addition was finally to the place where it could be installed yesterday and when I took it out of the box discovered that the back of the light casing was totally cracked, a chunk of it fell out and is absolutely of no use. The return window and customer support is closed. Lesson learned.

    We purchased this to replace an existing and similar wall light for our front porch. The issue with aluminum is that it oxidizes over time. Paint was peeling off the old one.
