I have been a huge proponent of Bunnies by the Bay for my children for years, but not this one. We purchased four of the rutabaga bunny and all four have fallen apart within a week of each being played with at the seam on the velvet/satin fabric. This is PRIOR to a trip through the wash. Absolutely disappointed with this version and the waste of money.

    I have the bunny with the small carrots on it like what is shown currently on the large picture (instead of the Rutabaga's that are shown in the small picture) and wanted a "back-up bunny" to leave at daycare. I took a chance that I would get the one with the carrots since the large photo shows that one (I didn't). There are 2 main differences between the one with carrots and the one with rutabaga's - The head on rutabaga is probably 50% larger and the blanket part is two flaps (split up the back as well as the front) instead of 1 blanket part with only the split up the front.

    I figured I would be sent Rutabega instead of the one with carrots, so I can't be too disappointed, but I wish they would post the correct picture. In any event, my daughter accepted the "back-up" just fine and now we don't worry about only having one and accidently leaving "bunny bunny" at daycare.

    All of our kids have thoroughly enjoyed these security blankets(each have there own color). They are very well made - we wash ours twice a week with all that it is put through and after two years it is still holding strong (allbeit not quite as soft as it was when new). Some of the details (e.g. blush in the face) will eventually wear off, but that is to be expected after time if washing frequently. We finally decided to buy another so we did not have to do laundry quite as often... Great product - would highly recommend.

One downfall is that it can't be washed and if you spot treat a large area ( she puked on an ear) it doesn't quite feel the same. Worried that the texture she loves so much will be gone soon as it changes once wet.
