The few extra degrees of angle on this model is a benefit. The battery life has been great. Initially I planned to return this product when I received it believing that I received the wrong product and unhappy that the vinyl covering was already coming up around the edges. The description is misleading and states that this keyboard is backlit. It is not backlit, but for me that is okay as I've found that I am not often in low light settings. I decided to return this product and keep it as it does exactly what I wanted it to do. It has turned my ipad mini into a nice little mini laptop and is so useful for toting around to get things done. I would recommend this product. I have primarily kept this case in a sleeve that I bought to accompany it so it is still in pretty good condition. I am a little worried that the vinyl will continue to come up, but that has not happened just yet, so we'll wait and see.

I really like the look and style of this product, but it takes awhile to link up with the ipad. Once it links up, the keypad is nice, and seems to work great. The battery life has been about 5 hours. The only issue I have with case, is that the male-end of the charging cord is hard to stick into the iPad port. It’s perfect for the port on the actual keyboard, but you really have to ram it in to get it to charge for the iPad. Overall the style and price is great. It feels solid, and closes securely. It’s a classic.

This is my second Zagg Folio for ipad mini. The first lasted a year before the plastic hinge started coming apart. I treated it with care from the moment I bought it. I really like the concept of this product so I decided to try my luck with a second one. I was aware of the many negative reviews concerning the hinge flaw but I thought I would luck out and get a ‘good one’. Well, this one lasted only 4 months before splitting. I am not impressed. Obviously, Zagg continues to produce these things with no regard for quality control or rethinking the needed change of the hinge material. The case and keyboard are robust enough but the part that receives the most use (hinge) is made of thin, brittle plastic. This will be my last product from Zagg.
