Great case
I've always liked seidio cases. This thing has survived many drops into concrete and asphalt with no damage done to the phone. One of the drops did happen to break off the kickstand, but that's not a big deal since I never used it anyway. Picture attached shows this. Case is worth the money and I will continue to buy their cases.

    Pro: Well built, solid case. I've already dropped the phone twice (see cons) and the case protected it.

    Cons:

    1) The case fits so tightly that a tempered glass screen protector will have issues. The inner edge is cut in a way where if using a tempered glass protector, the case will actually push against the edge of the protector and cause bubbles. I had to sand places here and there just so the case would stop pushing on the screen protector.

    2) The magnet on the kickstand is pretty strong. I work on cars so guys like me tend to get greasy and keep my nails short. When you have to pry the kickstand open with a key/small flat head screwdriver, its a bad sign. I layered pieces of scotch tape and separated the kickstand from the magnet about 1.5mm. This solved the problem and am now easily able to open the kickstand.

    3) The clip system on the holster keeps the phone secure, but BEWARE when pressing up against objects. When pressed up against a wall, or in my case a car's fender, with the way the clip is designed, it will open on you. Then when you move back from wall or said car fender, the clip actually pushes the phone out of the holder, falling onto the ground.

    Overall it's a tough case. It will protect your N6 from damage. However, this case is not for those who are constantly on the move and active.

    I go through phones every couple months. And as such, I go through Seidio cases every couple months. In other words, if I'm buying a new phone, it's going to have a Seidio Case with Holster. I've gone through so many other cheap and even expensive cases, and they never quite do what I want them to do. Most just have a simple goal, protect the phone, and maybe look cool. Who cares about functionality.

    Well, apparently Seidio does. This case is a hard plastic material with a felt lining on the inside. It has a matte finish that does a good job of resisting fingerprints. While not 100% immune, it's easy enough to wipe down. It's got all of the right cut-outs for my Nexus 6's microphone, micro-USB port, side buttons, headphone jack, and of course, the camera. It's easy to install as it simply snaps together via it's two-piece design. And unlike some of the earlier generations, it's MUCH easier to remove now.

    This case clips into a matching belt holster with a large clip, which is made of equally solid plastic and a felt lined interior to protect the screen. But more to make you feel better, really. The latch at the top makes for very simple use as I can insert and remove one-handed all day long.

    There is a metal kick-stand on the back, which is held closed via magnet. I don't use this too often. But it is very nice to have. I do wish they'd redesign it for the big ones. The weight distribution of the large phones, especially the Nexus 6, means it's not super stable. It still works. Minor issue.

    Overall, I highly recommend these cases for anybody looking for a good combination of protection, portability, and functionality. Plus, it looks nice.

    This case is simply too tight to take off. Every now and then, if I'm at home in a carpeted area of the house, I don't want the bulkiness of this case on the already huge Nexus 6. If it was easily removable, that would not be a problem. However it is extremely difficult to remove and I ended up just finding another case instead.

    Case is excellent as a protective device; however, the kickstand should be closer to the center of the case to provide a stable support.
    The holster holds the cased phone securely. It would be perfect if the back, where the face of the phone rests, was magnetized. That would automatically put the phone into sleep mode when it was holstered. The only case I've found with the magnet face cover is the Case-Mate folio case, but its cover is cheap vinyl and there is no holster that works with it.

    I have always loved the Seidio Surface line, and I buy them along with either a tempered-glass or zagg-style screen protector for every smartphone I own. I can then use the phone for 8 mos-1yr, taking the case off regularly only to clean inside, and when I'm ready for a new device I can take it out of the case, clean it, put the stickers back on and put it back in the box with the accessories I keep unopened and sell it as if it were brand new (if I wanted to). That's how well their cases protect your device, and this one seems to be no exception. Forget the junk on here that costs less, because you really do get what you pay for!! And you spent all that money on your expensive smartphone, yet you want to scrimp and save on the only thing standing between it and destruction? Not a smart idea if you ask me! Additionally, the Seidio Surface holsters have worked 9/10 TPU cases and some other slim hard cases, too. Others like the QuickCircle/Window cases for LG G2/G3 have worked for me with Surface holsters also, only adding to the value. If you only buy one case/combo for your N6, it should be this one!!

    I have been a seidio customer for years. Their products are top notch. The kickstand is a bit weak. I had the HTC thunderbolt which is im guessing where seidio got the idea. For me personally, i rarely use the kickstand if ever, so this doesn't effect the number of "stars" for me. Qi charging works through the case, though the nexus is particular with the placement on a qi pad (this is the phone's problem not the case). Holster works great, but sometimes gets caught on my seatbelt getting out of the car (this might be an issue with my belly and not the holster, but i digress). A bit difficult to put the phone in the holster if you have headphones plugged in (if you are doing this without looking), but doable if you have the holster out of your belt and slip it in. there is a slot on top of the hinged clip for the headphone jack.
