    This thing looks cool to have on your desk. Although the serrated tape cutter is at the wrong angle so youhave to pull the tape back towards the dispenser to get it to tear off. Even though it is a German company, I think it is made in China if I can remember correctly.

    The unit really looks good, unfortunately does not function. After loading a roll of tape, I tried to pull out about two inches of tape and use the serrated edge to cut it. It broke right off. The serrated edge is soldered into two arms attached to the base with two screws, and it is very fragile. Since the product was not able to do even one cut of tape, I am returning it.

    This is a very attractive tape dispenser but that is where it ends. The tape that is purchased for the office doesn't really fit (I even purchased rolls with fewer yards still had too much tape to fit). You can put it in the dispenser but it's too tall so it's in a bind. The metal bar that runs through the center won't rest on the sides and because the bar is attached by a screw on one side it won't sit level and is wobbly when you try to pull the tape. Will work nicely when the tape has run down so there isn't much left on the roll. If you don't use much tape it may be somewhat workable. I don't consider that I use a lot of tape but I do use it a few times a day sealing envelopes, etc. and it really slows me down. It's a really attractive addition to the drawer beside my desk as I gave up and got something that works with a regular full roll of tape. If only it were made for standard tape rolls it would be 10 stars.... but it isn't.

    again another fabulous design that is impractical. It doesn't hold a full roll of tape, which is so frustrating. Also the rod across is held in place by a screw , which makes changing tape rolls a production , rather than a one-step process. Poor design all around. But lovely stainless steel look.

    Den Klebefilmabroller habe ich mir zwecks toller Optik zusammen mit dem passendem Locher des Akto Programms gekauft. Trotz teilweise sehr negativer Rezensionen habe ich den astronomisch hohen Preis gezahlt weil sich die beiden nun einmal so gut auf meinem Schreibtisch machen. Kurz zum Locher: Er hakte von Anfang an an den einzigen beiden Stellen an denen er haken kann, war an vielen Stellen nicht entgratet, nach dem dritten Lochen ist eine der Stanzen abgebrochen. Soviel dazu, es geht hier ja um den Klebefilmabroller. Hier dachte ich dass man bei einem so einfachen Produkt eigentlich gar nicht so viel falsch machen kann, aber man kann:

    Zu allererst ist das Produkt nicht ordentlich entgratet, das kann man bei dem Preis schon erwarten. Will man die Rolle wechseln, braucht man einen Schraubendreher, auch das wäre eleganter gegangen. Zum dritten passen handelsübliche Klebefilmrollen nicht in den Abroller, so dass man sie erst verkleinern muss. Alles unschöne Tatsachen die man sehr einfach hätte anders machen können.

    Das wirkliche Problem aber ist das Abreissblech. Es ist einfach so gut wie unmöglich damit etwas abzureißen weil es zu weit unten sitzt..Jede Frischehaltefolienverpackung bekommt das mit einem kleinem gezacktem Blechrand hin, ich kann das einfach nicht verstehen. Als hätte noch nie jemand das Produkt ausprobiert. Zu allem übel ist mir das Blech dann nach etwa zwei Wochen in denen ich den Abroller zwecks mangelnder Funktion eher dekorativ auf dem Tisch stehen hatte einfach runter gefallen. Es war nur fest geklebt mit einem Kleber der absolut nicht auf Metall hält.

    Damit ist der schöne Abroler nun wirklich so defekt wie möglich, mir fällt nicht ein was man da noch hätte falsch machen können.

    Es scheint bei Blomus arbeiten sehr gute Designer und sehr schlechte Ingenieure zusammen die wunderschöne Produkte für die Altmetall-Sammlung herstellen.
