Product Description

Asafoetida (Ferula assa-foetida) is a herbaceous perennial that can resemble a tree in size. Ferula Assa-foetida is one of the species of the Apiaceae family. According to some reports, Asafoetida can reach 3 meters in height. The underground part of the plant is a thick cone-shaped, like all umbellate, but strongly sprouted roots. Asafoetida flowers are pale yellow in color.

Directions

Shake well before use. Take 20-30 drops, three times a day or as directed by your practitioner. The best way to use liquid herbal tinctures is to put the suggested amount in a glass of water, tea, or juice and drink the entire contents. Tinctures can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some tinctures are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.

    I never tried this before and was concerned about other people saying there is an odor to it. I thought it would be like garlic and come out through my pores or something weird but I got it and they are exaggerating!!! If anything it smells just slightly like an onion. I am so happy with this Hing I have digestive disorders and it really has subsided a lot of BAD symptoms I was having! I just take it with water in the morning and it is really effective for gas...SCORE!!!
