    This is my go-to watercolor paper. I use tape on the pad to divide the paper into smaller paintings, or use my cutter to cut into smaller paintings, and tape onto my surface to paint. The buckling is almost non-existent after painting if leaving it on the pad, however, if removing it, cutting and taping it to a surface; depends on when you remove it from the surface as to the extent of buckling (and how much water). If there are buckles, I can easily remove them by spraying the back with water and pressing the painting in a book, then stack a few more books on it overnight. The painting comes out super flat and stay flat going forward for permanent storage or framing. All around great product. :-)

    I have never seen paper buckle this badly - even cheap paper. I drew out my scene painstakingly and when I went to wash in the sky the paper buckled so badly I had to throw out the whole painting. Even after drying you could still see where the paint settled in the valleys of the paper. Very disappointing- I thought this was a top brand...

    The paper is good quality, but it is not the size advertised. I expected 12 x 18 paper, but it is more than an eighth of an inch short of being 18 inches across. That means I can't get two 12 x 9 inches of paper if I cut them in half, as I like to do, which is annoying.

    For those wanting the Fabriano blocks before they changed to vegan "enhanced quality", it seems that they must all be sold out. What arrived from Jackson's was the newer vegan enhanced quality version, despite the pictures displayed on this website. This is all that is available in the stores in Canada too. The parcel arrived in good condition and well ahead of time, but I was hoping for the older version of the Fabriano Artistico blocks.
