    What's not great about lock & lock. They are water tight and I have yet to have one open when dropped. Only issue is that foods with tomato in it such as soup or sauce when hot will tend to scar or stain, for everything else they are perfect and I do put them on the top shelf in the dishwasher and have yet to have a problem.

    Absolutely love Lock & Lock products! Wash in the dishwasher and have never had any deformation, seals perfectly every time and never spills. Don't bother with any of the "household name" products you can buy in the supermarket, they don't seal properly out of the box.
