These are great, I wear them at work to contain leaking. They are very soft and are not noticeable under the shirt (but I work as a nurse and wear scrubs so they're pretty baggy, I don't know how it would look like under a thin sleak shirt). They make my breasts warm and when I pump I feel it helps me pump better. I don't leak that much but occasionally I do and they contain small leaks perfectly. Amazing product! Pretty expensive but well worth it. Note that these are very big, they are supposed to cover the whole breast so if you have medium breasts buy size S.
I’ve used these as a first time mom and love them. I can use them for about a week between washes and they have been wonderful for maintaining breast health- I’ve had zero issues while using them. They’re comfortable and offer nice padding and the size does make them discreet even in lightly padded bras. Just ordered their lanolin soap and a second pair to keep them going throughout my breastfeeding journey.
After 8 weeks of nursing using bamboo cotton pads and changing them constantly, I was still experiencing a lot of soreness and irritation between feeds. I’ve been using these for a week now, and the pain is completely gone. They absorb leaks so well! To be fair, I’m not a heavy leaker, but I never feel any moisture on my skin or the pads. I still use the cotton pads when I workout so I don’t get these sweaty, but otherwise I wear these all day and night.
They are much bigger than I expected, but as other reviewers have said, they totally disappear under clothes.
I wish hadn’t wasted my money on the cotton pads before I found these!
Really wish I would have bought these from the very beginning. I had seriously sore nipples for what seemed like forever. After 6 months of just being tired of using disposables I decided to try these. I use cloth diapers for my son, including wool covers, so I'm very familiar with how wool works & how to care for these. I no longer leak a whole lot but still require something for let down & just plain 'ole nipple protection. These are perfect, soft, & comfy. I don't know how these will work for the early days, but I plan to find out with my next one. I don't need more than one pair now, but will definitely buy more when the next baby comes along.
These are a little thick, but placed in the bra correctly, you can't notice them under a shirt. I always struggled with finding bras that fit due to large bust & small rib cage & these actually helped my nursing bras fit better & more comfortably. Definitely recommend these!
I purchased these a couple months ago because I have Reynaud's and was experiencing clogged ducts and other issues regularly (it was pretty awful). Since I've been wearing these, I have felt so much better. Also, baby was so vigorous at first that I tore on both sides, and these pads helped with the healing by providing warmth and keeping the moisture away. I seldom leak, but when I have, these are easily the most absorbent and best pads I have used. Plus, you don't stick to them. I currently wear a DD, and these fit nicely in my bra and cover a good portion of each breast (if you were a large B or small C, these would cover your entire breast for sure). I'm wearing an unpadded nursing bra, and this adds the extra padding so nothing shows through. Wonderful, wonderful product.
If you leak heavily, there is no question about the fact that you need wool nursing pads. Cotton will get drenched within minutes and keep you wet and cold -- a feeling that can be very painful on your boobs. There are other wool pads out there, but I love the quality of these and the fact that they are organic! My skin is very sensitive and I tend to feel "scratchy" from most wool products, so I don't wear wool most of the time, but still found these to work great for me: they are incredibly soft, naturally anti-microbial, and they keep you warm -- a feeling that your breasts will definitely appreciate while you're lactating. Occasionally, when I'm leaking heavily, they do get soaked, but they feel warm even then and they dry really fast as you wear them. I'm only using 2 pairs: one for around the house and another one that I keep dry for when I need to leave the house.
It's kind of my fault. The description says 13cm diameter. As a very new mom of twins with breastfeeding issues, that measurement was beyond my comprehension. The pads are wonderful quality, and I love the smaller size, but the large is just ridiculous and doesn't fit with any sizing norms. I'm not kidding, think dinner plates. I can't picture how anyone but the largest plus sized woman could wear these. The sizing really should be XXL or something similar. These were very expensive to be so useless-and again my fault for not returning. I'll chalk that up to a broken printer and not enough hours in the day to eat let along fix a printer to return the item. The small is generously sized for me and I'm a DD pre-pregnancy. If not for the sizing, this would be a 5 for sure. It's an absolute life saver for Rynaud's, and possibly the only reason I'm still able to nurse.
