Create your own laminated tags with this convenient tag kit. Each kit includes 100 6" clear plastic loops and 100 10 mil luggage tag laminating pouches (2-1/2" x 4-1/4"). the luggage tag laminating pouches come pre-slotted for easy attachment. TruLam thermal laminating pouches are compatible with all popular laminating machine models, including laminators from TruLam, Akiles, Circle, Tamerica, banner, Purple Cows GBC, Fellowes, and Scotch. These laminating sheets are made of high quality, high clarity laminating film and premium adhesive resins for crystal clear laminated documents. To use, simply center your document inside of the laminating pouch and insert it into a pre-heated pouch laminator (following the manufacturer's instructions for setting the machine based on the thickness of the pouch).

      I was throwing a movie theater party for my 8 y.o. and wanted to make all access press passes on a lanyard I bought, so they felt like they were at an exclusive event. The weight and quality of these were perfect. When laminated they were hard and wouldn't bend (although a few months later my son's lossened up and could bend a little). We later put on his backpack and now use it as a luggage tag on his suitcase. My laminator is for up to 5 mil so I put it through a few times.

      These worked very well for us. My teens made luggage tags for friends to put on instrument cases and band duffels. We used standard cardstock that we printed on a business card template. We used a Staples brand laminator that is rated for 5 mil. I didn't realize it until we were working with it. There is about a 1/16 - 1/8 ring of air space around the card after laminating, which I attribute to using thicker 10 mil plastic in a 5 mil machine. But it went through well and we were careful to leave enough room around the hole. The plastic fused between hole and card. We did need to use a card to get it through the machine.

      We did find 2 folded cards in the bottom of the box that are just bigger than the size of the plastic pouches. Didn't find it until we were done with the project. Wondered if those cards are there to act as the "pusher"? We'll give it a try next time we have a luggage tag project to do.
