    After reading the reviews I decided these were the towels I needed to try. Boy I'm glad I did! They are exactly what I was looking for. I wanted tea towels just like my grandmother had, large with a tight weave. Everything I kept finding out there was more like cheesecloth because their weave was so coarse. Not these. They are definitely quality towels. I washed all of them right away and they all kept their size and shape. Started using them for drying and they did a great job. I haven't tried them yet with flour or powdered sugar on them for baking (for example, rolling up jelly rolls) but since they so closely resemble what my grandmother had, I'm confident that they will be fine. So, if you are looking for the old-school tea towels of yore, these are it!

    These are not flour sack cotton. I have used flour sack towels before and love them. These are just thin, regular old cotton. Flour sack cotton is soft and slightly thicker than this, making it far more absorbent.

    They're a good size and would probably be fine for as dish rags or cleaning tools, but they're not the level of quality I expect from an actual flour sack towel. And really, just tearing up some old, cheap sheets into rag size would give you the same quality as these for a much lower price.

Spent 1 hr ironing them just to get them in decent shape. Overall, they would've been perfect if only it was lint-free drying, but lint-free advertisement is false, which is the only reason I purchased them to begin with. Also doesn't absorb well either. For the price, I expected them to work perfect. Huge disappointment.

    I guess no matter how good the description is, you won't know until you see it with your own eyes. Someone had posted that they were thin but would be good for embroidery. I could never embroider a design on these and then give it as a gift. Too tacky. They look like rags. I guess I'll use them for myself and reserve the right to come back and tell you how absorbent they are. I am disappointed.
