Easy to put on
5 out of 5 stars
Easy to put on
I liked the two zipper system on the front of the suit. It make it easy to put on and zip my kid in it. I bought size 18 months for my 13 month old to grow into it. The thick elastics on the cuffs work well to keep the suit in place while letting us get many months of wear out of it. I’ve been putting this rain suit on overtop of his winter bunting for cold, rain, snow, and wind protection. My kiddos doesn’t mind wearing it and can walk in it with ease. It easily accommodates multiple layers on underneath the suit. I like the yellow as it offers viability on a quick, rambling toddler that is on the move. I put the suit on at home and buckle kiddo in the car seat with it on to protect him from the rain when we have to leave the house and run errands. I like that the suit keeps him dry!

I’m thrilled with how well it performs! As any parent knows, keeping a toddler dry in the rain is no easy feat, but this suit has exceeded my expectations in every way.

I love how easy it is to get my toddler into the suit which is a huge bonus when you're wrangling a squirmy toddler.

Runs a little large but is thin so plenty of room for layering, my little one seems comfortable, stays dry, sans it goes on with little fight.

Perfect rain suit for little explorers. Protects clothes from wind, rain, mud and more. No more wet and dirty clothes after the playground.

The addition of the little storage bag is great for taking the dirty rain suit home for cleaning.

It is a very large fit. My little one typically wears 3T clothes. We got a 2T but it's still very large. It should last a pretty long time.

Best $30 I've spent on kids' gear! It's easy to put on and take off, and perfect for rainy days. I don't have to worry about my baby's clothes getting wet or dirty. It runs a little big, but I'm fine with that — it means it will last more than one season.

An absolutely necessary piece of clothing for any child/toddler going to a daycare. They go outside rain or shine and between this and rubber boots. The child stays dry. If needed, you can roll up the sleeves or tuck the pants into the boot.

Tuffo is as advertised. My toddler stayed dry chasing a ball in soggy grass, which includes lots of crawling! It has been windy both times we went out and he was toasty warm when we got home. As a rain suit, the zippers are water tight, the wrist and ankle elastic tight enough but not constricting. I got a larger size to wear for at least two years and even with the legs and sleeves bunched up, the suit fits well and functions as it should. It is well constructed, I like the durable patches at the knees.

I have purchased multiple sizes and colours of this rain suit for my daycare children. I love the fact, they are so simple and easy to use, many of my kiddos were able to get themselves into their suits Because they are so nice and roomy. The zippers slide easily, and the elastic cuffs at wrist and ankle are terrific for keeping the kiddos dry. And believe me, my kiddos were tough on these, puddle, jumping, sliding down rocks, and climbing through the forest. These items are so well-made, I was able to hand them down to multiple children. I recommend a quick rinse and hang to dry, we never dried ours in the dryer.

Such a nice "investment" for kids. It's wide and fits so easily over clothes, fully waterproof. I would not recommend washing too often (you shouldn't have to, it's meant to be muddy). Never put in the dryer, it's useless and damaging.

The only thing I'd change about these, is that they were cotton or fleece lined, other than that, zero complaints. Completely waterproof, the gaters fit over rain boots, the double zipper make it easy for little ones to use themselves, and very generously sized. My daughter's 5T will fit her from now at age 4 until probably 7, so definitely worth the price 😍.

Came bigger than expect but love it for the extra clothes on the colder days.

We absolutely cannot live without these! We’re big outdoors people and take our kids out rain or shine everyday.

On rainy days we’d be having a lot of laundry after puddle jumping no matter what rain coats the kids would wear. With muddy buddy’s they stay warm and dry!

They certainly are waterproof even on the seams and the leg/arm holes have a nice sturdy elastic to make sure water doesn’t get in. If you pull them tightly over their boots the water will not get in!

They do fit a little on the large side in the body, but i think that is needed so that you can stuff them in the suit even if they’re in warm sweaters or a snowsuit. Plus it makes them look pretty adorable :) The hood is a nice touch and comes out far enough to keep their face dry (though my kids usually pull the hood down lol).

The quality is great. Ours has been passed down to our second child and it is still holding up well (probably about 3 years now and still waterproof).

One thing to note is that because they’re waterproof they don’t breath well so if they’re really running around and it’s warmer out they can get a little sweaty inside, but there’s no way around that if you want something 100% waterproof.

Amazon was out of stock on our size when our oldest grew out of her original muddy buddy so we changed brands and it was a big mistake. It leaked after a few times wearing it. We will stick with the muddy buddy brand! A little pricier but well worth it!
