    I've used Cashel masks on my horses for years, and I was delighted when they came out with this one. But the only donkey this mask would fit as is would be the American Mammoth--it would have been too big even for an average Arabian or cob. I bought this for my medium donkey. I had to take it in 4.5-5 inches to get enough of a fit that she couldn't easily lose it. That included shortening the ears, removing the Velcro fastener, moving it and adding another Velcro strap. What I should have done was buy a pony-sized mask without ears and sewed on a pair of socks. It would have been much cheaper and less work.
