- Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2016Love the color! I know that is vane, but this was why i went with this instead of the 22awg, which was what I really needed. Actually, I got both, but technically needed 2 of the 22. Anyway...this ended up being easier for me to work with. I am making foxhole radios with a bunch of 7-10-yr-olds and thought the 22 gauge wire would be easier for them to roll 100 times around a tube. It is still uncertain how that will pan out as the project is on hold while we wait for our faulty piezo-electric earphones to be replaced, but i went ahead and rolled one of each and found the 30 gauge easier to keep straight and in place. It is less stressful on the fingers since it bends easier and lays smoothly against each preceding loop with very little force.
It is also much stronger than i expected and very flexible. i used it to attach the cat whisker to, which has to be moved around a lot, and it has yet to break. The enamel is easy to peel or burn off.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2019I always buy TEMCo magnet wire whenever I need some for various Ham Radio and electrical engineering projects. It’s terrific quality and the insulation comes off nicely with heat or sandpaper.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2018This wire was okay. We bought it to build a portable seismometer and although it did serve it's purpose, it is so thin that it broke after only a few uses. After it broke we decided to use thinker wire to reduce the number of wraps we had to do on our coil. Goping with thicker wire was definitely the way to go!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2023I ordered this wire for a special project. I use this to wind RF transformers (Balun's and Unun's) for Ham Radio antennas. This is an Experimenting part of the radio hobby that allows me to play radio without having to go into all the electronic stuff.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2022Not all magnet wire can be stripped by burning off the insulation with a soldering iron, and I couldn't find anything in the description that said this could be, so I'm here to say, yes, this works. And it's a whole lot easier than scraping or sanding the wire before tinning!
