The 4-in-1 Waterproof Wash Mitt cleans any area of the vehicle during a normal weekly car wash. The 4-in-1 uses premium ultra-soft 70/30 blend microfiber to wipe up dirt and debris without scratching sensitive paint. Over 95% of swirls come from improper washing and drying tools and techniques, but the 4-in-1 Mitt is safe to use for scratch-free washing on any car, truck, motorcycle, SUV, or RV.     The Chemical Guys 402 waterproof wash mitt is the best one that I've ever used. It's size is perfect for good control when it's being used. It holds just the right amount of water to suds well, but not so much to make it feel heavy like other mitts. The microfiber pile is just the right length to be effective at cleaning and retaining water, while not pilling. I bought my first mitt more than six years ago and I'm still using it! I didn't like the waterproof liner the first month or so that I used the mitt, but quickly learned to appreciate it when washing the car in cold water in December. If you don't dunk the mitt below the wrist in your wash bucket, your hands will stay dry. I wish my ski gear was this good. Overall I highly recommend. Tip: Pull the waterproof liner out of the mitt a little ways to ensure the mitt dries completely.

    I love having a two-sided mitt to keep track of and the sides are good for getting off the bugs. I use the grey part for lower panels and the yellow side only for the top portions. I wish the wrist-cuff came up further, because then your hand would stay dry. It's a great concept, but doesn't work with the cuff so short and close to the mitt... so instead it keeps the water inside of the mitt.

    Just used my "new" Chemical Guys MIC-402 wash mitt for the first time. While I usually do not wear these as a mitten (although I may in colder weather), I found this to be soft and seemingly well made. It held the wash water well and was easy to grasp while sponging off my vehicles.

    The bi-color is a nice touch and helps in knowing which side is "cleaner" if between dunks in the bucket plus helps if you are one (as I) who prefers to use a different side for the lower (and usually dirtier) side panels.

    Since I did not have my hand inside of it, I cannot attest to the "waterproof" qualities of this mitt. I use this as more of a padded
    wash pad and I can state I would buy it again. Good price for a quality product.

    I didn't like this very much to wash my car. I'm sure of the wash mitts this is one of the better ones, but it can't overcome simple physics. Dunking this in water make it heavier than just using a microfiber towel , and the waterproof feature only really works if you are slow and deliberate when soaping up and applying to the car. If you try to work fast you will inevitably get water inside and tire out your arm.

    I'm thinking the Viking 942600 Microfiber Speed Wax Applicator Mitt might be a better 'wash mitt', will have to try it out.

    Still giving two stars since it has decent use as a normal wash sponge if you just hold it instead.

    My initial thoughts when I first put my hand into the mitt was not good. The plastic liner feels horrible but this is nothing compared to how bad it is when you try and use it on your car. The inner plastic liner moves about inside the mitt and instead of sweeping across the cars panels it trys to roll across. I persevered for about 5 minutes before i cut the elastic wrist band off together with the plastic inner liner.

    It has been relegated to washing wheels while i use my new Meguiars mitt for the bodywork.
