"Because . . . you're worth it"
I think these are the best socks in the world, and compatible for both dress slacks, casual wear, shorts, and I especially like them for hiking and running because black color doesn't ever get dirty.

Too expensive? Just buy a pair each month until you have enough. That's what I do. I don't spend $100 on 5 pairs and cry over it. The main thing is, throw out your older lower quality socks. Don't need 'em.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2016These socks are soft and comfortable and have not exhibited the shrinking associated with 100% wool socks thanks to the introduction of some polyester. The flip side of that is they don't wick moisture as well as the 100% wool socks, but they are suitable for most applications. My shoe size is 9 1/2 which is on the cusp of Medium/Large; I ordered a large and it fits me well.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2015I have been wearing wool socks since I moved to snow country 15 years ago. Fortunately a friend turned me onto wool socks early on. These are my favorites. If you follow the washing instructions (turn inside-out before washing, line dry), they will last many seasons. I think I have some that are at least 7 years old. Since I always buy the same color, I just put them all in one drawer and take 2 as needed. They are thin enough to be worn with my regular sneakers or light boots, but warm enough for outdoors until it gets really cold (like 5-10 or under) then I go to a heavier Wigwam product. Made in Wisconsin, durable, comfy, they are well worth the price. I have size 12 feet and the Large size fit me well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best socks I've ever worn
Size: LargeColor: NavyVerified PurchaseBest socks I've ever worn. Even on a hot day, it breathes and is just great. I'm typically always finding myself being barefoot at home, but I've surprised myself keeping these on because they were so comfortable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing socks!
The best general purpose socks ever. Soft, warm and never feel like too much sock. My only socks for the last 10 years.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great quality..........rather over priced .
Wigwam socks .........Great product but way too expensive for one pair. Usually one pair in a store in Canada can be bought for around $20.00. They last a long time ....few years.......excellent quality.

3.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't appear authentic
I had a pair of original Wigwam socks that I purchased from MEC. Those were thick and very comfortable. Although these are comfortable too, these are thinner than the ones I purchased - so I am questioning if I have been sold a knock-off.
