Easy install and seems to work OK on my 1977 Jeep CJ5. I'll have to wait till I burn off some of my full tank of gas to verify accuracy.
UPDATE No. 2: I started with a full tank of gas and I used 7 gal. The gauge never moved. I read the specification sheet that came with the gauge and noted that it requires a reading of 33 OHMs on Full and 240 OHMs on Empty for AMC applications. This is way off factory specs for an AMC Jeep. I referenced a factory service manual which calls for 10 OHMs on Full, 23 OHMs at Half and 73 OHMs on Empty. This gauge will never be accurate so it is in effect, completely useless on an AMC Jeep application. It does fill the 2 inch hole in my dash quite nicely though!
Update No. 2: Be sure what OHM resistance level you need before you purchase ANY fuel gauge. I did not. I purchased the 7363 and it won't work with my application. I hope to help any future DIYer purchase the correct gauge. Here are the OHM ranges for various vehicles: 0-30 Ohms (GM Type '64 and earlier) - 0-90 Ohms (GM Type '66 and later) - 75-10 Ohms (Ford Type '86 and earlier) - 16-158 Ohms (Ford Type '87 and later) - 90-0 Ohms (Toyota and Nissan '85 and later) - 240-33 Ohms (Standard Aftermarket). I later ordered the 7361, 75-10 Ohms. Oh, well. Live and learn!
