I deducted one star here because I don't like the curve/shape of the rack as well

I deducted one star here because I don't like the curve/shape of the rack as well
Replaced my SimpleHuman (SH) model, whose rack had rusted, with this one. I deducted one star here because I don't like the curve/shape of the rack as well. With the SH model, I could push my Nalgene bottles over the rungs, which held them upright. Not able to do so with this model. UPDATE: Purchased in 2016-09. As of 2018-01, I have TWO rusted spots. This product is NOT rust-proof. Downgraded to 3 stars for this.

Perfect fit for a small space. Its a very nice design and everyone that sees it want to know where it got it. Looks small, but its very sturdy and hold a lot. all the water drains out and I no longer have to deal with the unsightly water stain that develop on the regular drainer. Just rinse and wipe drip. Over two months now and going strong. Perfect for the single person or couple if you're trying to save space.

I went from living in a house with a huge two-sided porcelain sink with disposal, dishwasher, and plenty of cabinet space; to living in a much smaller apartment with a very "space efficient" two sided stainless steel sink, no disposal, and no dishwasher. Getting into the habit of doing the dishes as I go was pretty easy, but I knew immediately that I was going to need a drying rack of some kind. Unfortunately, though, many seemed to big to accommodate my "Jr." sized sink.

Lucky for me, this drying rack totally does the trick. It fits perfectly in one side of my sink, and the drain channel at the bottom of the unit is perfectly designed to ensure that the rack doesn't sit lop-sided, or in any other fashion that might prevent draining or an organized placement of my dishes.

There are only two somewhat minor criticisms I have for the rack: 1) The raised portions of the wire grate are too shallow. I have two separate designs of full-sized dinner plates, and both have a little bit of trouble being held vertically by the wires. 2) For the overall construction and materials, I feel like the price could be a couple of bucks cheaper. Nothing drastic, just enough so that when I'm walking through a major retailer that features similar housewares, I wouldn't feel as much like maybe I paid a bit more than I should have.

Other than those two things, this really has been a pretty solid little unit and a fine companion to what is otherwise one of my absolute least favorite chores. :D

Can't believe I'm writing a review for a drying rack, but its the best dish drainer/dryer ever! I can't believe how much I love this product. If you have a lip on your sink and are sick of water not draining properly, this is the product for you! Its a decent size and great sturdy material. Very easy to clean. My only recommendation is that you put a towel underneath as you will always flick some water around as your putting dishes in, but its better than other drying rack I've ever used. When I first put together it was uneven, but I pulled the legs out and tried again and its perfect.

Smaller than expected but gets the job done. One giant complaint is the metal leg pieces dont stay in place. You slide them in the holes but if you were to lift the dish rack up, they fall right out--i just used tape to keep them in place. The material is sturdy and good quality. This item is good for someone living in a studio or one bedroom and probably a good fit for a family of two or less, definitely wont hold all the dishes/pots/pans of a family of three or more.

Can't believe there are so many good reviews. Raised legs don't stay in so they fall out when you turn it right side up and legs are wobbly and make a scratching sound on the counter. Directions for swivel spout are ridiculous and screw for it does not go in properly. Didn't use and will return it. Too bad because it is very attractive.

I had the Simple Human variation of this for years. It finally was time to say goodbye. It had served me well but was pretty ugly I noticed one day. This Surpahs had the same dimensions and functions at about $10 less. Well, ok, I guess I'll give it a try. Yes, there is a difference. The lesser quality is evident to me. The wire racks are shorter and thinner, the surrounding rack seems thinner and shorter. The utensil drainer is good ! My husband drilled the drain holes bigger because they were just slits which weren't going to be sufficient to drain the water. The feet are in the places but they don't snap in place so they might fall out if I moved it much. The swivel drainer underneath doesn't attach well and remains a bit wobbly. ALL that being said, we keep it in the sink, not on the counter anyway so it will work here fine now that the drain holes have been drilled out bigger. If you want one you don't want anything to open and fix, you might want to get the original Simple Human. This one is fine until the day I look at it and realize how ugly it has gotten. Then, back to the original for me. If money is an issue, this one will serve the purpose. I'm working with it rather than return it. It's a dish drainer!

I can't say enough about this--I just love it! I looked several times on Amazon for a drying rack that would work for me and my budget. I got so discouraged by reading the reviews, and was just about to give up, then I noticed this one. Space and aesthetics were an issue for me, and this rack is perfect. It's small, easily moveable, and I love how the high sides "hide" the dishes. Also, my counter is black granite, and this color goes perfectly with it. The spout on the bottom is great, and saves you from having a mat underneath that needs maintenance. I've had this for a few months and haven't had any of the issues that other people have written about here. I tend to put my pans on the stove to dry, so, for two people, this size seems perfect for dishes and silverware.

I was looking for a smaller rack that would drain from the side, but this little baby does so much more. The high sides hold everything more securely. No more water on my counter, and you can wipe underneath it! The adjusting drain is awesome. My kitchen is small and it freed up space for me. Not to mention it looks outstanding with my counter top colors. I just hope it is around when/if I need another. Very sturdy as well.

A very nice buy! Compact and useful! Water spout is great feature. I had an issue with legs (they fall down when you lift the rack) but you can easily adjust them by pulling them apart to make a tension. In overall I am very happy!

Good for a couple small dishes and glasses. The silverware holder moved around so I just trashed that part.
Thankfully was gifted a second dish rack. Now I use one for dishes and the other pots a silverware.

Reviewed in Canada on October 5, 2016
It's a great concept and the water drains out the bottom spout perfectly into the sink. But the quality is POOR. The 4 bottom legs are supposed to insert into the tray and stay put but the ones that came with my purchase are defective. They keep falling out. I have already emailed Amazon customer service but have yet to hear back from them.
