    I was used to drugstore/grocery store pencils that always seemed just a bit too dark and unnatural, but I decided to try this one. I took a gamble on getting the "dark brown" shade (since I do use henna on my hair), but based on the undertone description, I went for it. I was pressing down too hard and the tip immediately broke, which annoyed me. Then, I was putting it on and could barely see anything, which also annoyed me. I packed it back up and prepared myself to return it, but something told me to try it out again the following day. I realized that I couldn't really see anything because I was used to my liner being too dark...this blended PERFECTLY with my own brow hair! The tip angle is now a little wonky since I broke it, but I can still angle it to do the skinny tip and also the fat side, which works SO well for me. Fills in the sparse areas like a champ! There may be cheaper ones out there, but I'm not sure I need to try anything else now!

Directions

Begin by exposing only a small bit of product (about 2–3 millimeters); this allows for maximum control of the pencil and prevents overextension when applying the product. Remember all ABH products are highly pigmented, so little pressure is required. When using Brow Definer, start by defining the brow shape. Brush the hairs upward with the spoolie end. Then, using the flat side of the pencil tip, outline the bottom of the brow from arch to tail. Next, brush the hairs downward, and outline the top of the brow from arch to tail with the flat side. Brush the hairs back in place and fill in the brow from arch to tail using the medium side of the tip. Next, detail the front of the brow by creating hairlike strokes using the fine tip. Starting at the base of the front of the brow, press the tip down and pull up in the direction of the hair’s growth. Use this technique in areas where there is empty space. Continuously blend throughout
