I looked at dozens of LED bedside reading lights and finally found this gem! It casts a bright, focused reading light that can be adjusted in all directions using the small handle shown in the fixture photo. The bronze finish blends perfectly with a wood headboard - very elegant. Installation is very simple - two screws hold a mounting plate to the wall or headboard, then the fixture has two retaining screws that hold it to the mounting plate. The fixture comes with a lamp wire that plugs in to a receptacle - no special wiring needed. If you are looking for a top-notch, attractive reading light this is the answer. NOTE: Mount it high enough to cast its light on your reading material.
January 2019 - One of the two lights that I purchased started to flicker. I rewired to eliminate the switch, thinking that it might be the problem, but then just had a very dim glow. Must be a problem with the LED lamp technology. So, time to order a replacement. Bummer!
