We got several of these pails to use on our farm. Most have caulking at the bottom that have held up after a year of use. They hold water or other liquids. They get a lot of hard use on our farm and take it well. We use them for fruit harvest, vegetable gathering, egg hauling and nut holding. We do hot fill them with water and haul them as we don't trust the handles for that work. We do not wash or scrub the pails so that the caulking will last. They are stackable.
