I am worried the case wouldn't protect my phone when it is needed.

      This case is exactly what I was looking for: a sturdy case with a slim profile. Understand that there will be some trade offs compared to thicker cases. For example, the screen is basically flush with the front edges of the case, so I anticipate there will be little protection if the phone falls on the screen.

      But the case is certainly sturdy, feels good in the hand and is on the thinner side so it provides some protection without adding a lot of bulk I don't want.

      My only criticism is that I have not been able to get it off since I put it on. So, the case and the phone are connected forever.

      The perfect iPhone case for me! I've had multiple iPhones over the years and I've tried tons of cases, yet I always come back to Seidio for perfection. I need a belt clip. I hate my phone dropping in the bottom of my purse and making it difficult to find. I clip mine on the inside pocket of my purse for quick and easy access. The phone comes in and out of the holster easily and only requires one hand to do so. The case is slim and light and attractive. I tried two other cases for my iPhone 6S and got rid of them both and got this. Also, all buttons and ports are easy access with this, unlike other 6s cases.

      Seido is one of my favorite brands when purchasing cases for i Pads and i Phones. I really like their design but most importantly the fact that their plastic covers go around the entire phone or iPad product. Unlike other brands it is very important to me to protect my phone all around so if i drop it I won't dent or damage my phone. This works great and has protected my phone really well. I also love the holster as it has a lock feature that when the holster spins it doesn't drop the iPhone. My father-in-law had a different holster brand and when his holster spun upside-down his phone went right into the pool and damaged the phone. This holster will not drop your phone in the pool! Love it!

"Edit:" I've been buying Seidio cases with holsters for a few years because they are slim, provide good protection and I like the holster. So far every one I have bought has either broke at the clip that holds the phone or broke at the swivel belt clip. While they have replaced the item free of charge, Its still not something I like to keep dealing with.

      This case was just okay for me. A kickstand is a much more useful feature than you might think at first, and the metal kickstand here seems pretty durable. I also like the color and the fact that they flatten out the sides of the iPhone 6. The thin rounded sides of the Apple phone itself may look sleek at first, but they are not really comfortable to grip tightly on a long call. I wish more case makers would square off the sides like this case does. The slider concept is one of the better case designs out there, so I like that too. The case material feels like cheap gritty rubber at first, but I even got to like that because it is grippier than it is slippery, which is important when picking a case. My review is not addressing the holster at all, only because I prefer to carry my phone in my pocket. This may be one of the better holster cases out there for all I know. The biggest reason this case only gets two stars from me is the open gap design of the volume rocker buttons and the on/off button. Pressing on the buttons felt very uncomfortable compared to how it feels using most other cases that have smooth sides that enclose those buttons. I kept hitting the thin piece of plastic that is needed to run along the entire front surface of the case. Check out the close up pictures of these cases, and if you don't think the open gap design would be a problem for you then you might like the case.

      Zero stars and a warning. I had the 4s version and it was great and still is. The Seidio silver make panel on the back had a pin sticking through the velvet on the phone side of the case and on removing the case it scratched the back of my beloved Iphone 6. I will obviously take this up with Seidio and hopefully for everyone else is a one off build issue but obviously not happy at all !!
