    I purchased this almost a year ago. I wanted to make sure that it was still running well before I wrote a review. The sound quality is pretty good. I like the idea of plugging my mp3 player into it as another means to listen to my music collection.
    It uses regular ear phone plug in and is electric or battery operated.
    The only downfall is I can only get about 5 radio channels clearly, but that is to be expected with almost any radio in the lower price range.
    I would highly recommend this product!

    Craig Boombox absolutely did not function as it should. It was bought to play CD's and although CD rotated no sound came out. Sound was OK for radio, so volume obviously working, just no link between CD and sound output. VERY disappointing. I live rural and buy by mail to avoid long drives to shops - returning this item necessitated a long drive to my nearest post office.

I needed one with an earphone jack and the capability to repeat a track or the whole disc repeatedly as my wife listens to tapes as she sleeps. It just plays into her brain over and over.
