good deal for solid copper. Have had no trouble with it unrolling. Just ran 2 runs of this about 100 feet and both were fine. I picked up 2 boxes of different colors to assist with color coding and letting me pull both runs at one. Had my electricians pull it into a new building from my house and I terminated it in the wall inside the house. Both tested out fine after I got some keystone jacks on them. Could have saved a few bucks and got CCA but I'd rather not. Pulling under a floor is not a pleasant experience and I have no desire to do it twice due to cable issues.

This cable is fantastic. I used the entire box in 50-100 ft runs. It came out of the box smoothly (the box uses a real abs/pvc spindle), and the pairs separated quite easily. The colors are bright and apparent. When un-twisted, they line up or stay in position just they way you want them. After a bad experience of copperclad cable, I did use my utility knife to scrape some of the copper, and it is indeed solid, through and through.

The cable slid effortlessly through a typical snarled maze of potential snags in a drop ceiling environment. Every run was 100% problem-free. Based on this experience - I will be purchasing a 1000ft roll of this same product.

I have had some good experience terminating network cables so I have used great cables, and I have used terrible cables. Lucky for me, these were awesome to work with. I found no flaws in this product. I have had some boxes that didn't color code the white pairs, making it very difficult to keep track of them. I have also had very stiff, hard plastic feeling, cables that wouldn't let you bend them into place without hurting your fingers.

Overall: These cables worked for us and I would recommend.

I can't give this 5 stars is because the cable gets stuck coming out of the box sometimes. Also, the cable was not very smooth; this could be why it got stuck coming out of the box. It's like you could see its ribs. Regardless, it's great for applications where you won't see the cable much, like running it through walls. It's solid wire, unlike a lot of the cheap "CAT5e" stranded wire crap you'll find on Amazon, so that's worth a lot.

Spent 3 hrs running 4 sets of 25' - 30' of cable behind walls and over 20 connectors and could not get cables to work. Cables tested good with cable tester but could not get components to connect to network. They seem to work ok outside of walls but I didn't buy them for that use. Returning box of unused cable and the cut up pieces to bad I can't get refund for all the connectors and my time.

I'm using this to run POE cameras. It's very easy to terminate, and easy to run, and I feel it's safer to use this for my cameras then the cables provided. It's very affordable for the quality you get. I'm glad I spent $20 more to get this because I didn't trust the cable which the builders used to network my house and I didn't trust some of the cheaper cables I find on amazon. Very safetied.

I'm a low voltage cable installer and this is one of the lower quality cables i have used. I have bought CAT5E cables from cables to go before and they were great. But this time the jacket is a lot thinner than before and kinks very easily, although the wires are easier to work. But i would still prefer a thicker jacket and higher quality cable.

Very rigid. Can be difficult to route and has the potential to crimp/split. Can be a pain to terminate and put on heads as the individual twisted pairs have a non-flexible coating/sheath and are difficult to untwist, straighten, slide into the heads, and/or punchdown. If you are not careful to avoid bending the individual wires they can break, even inside the RJ45 heads. Also important to make sure the outer sheath ends up inside the head. Purchase good quality RJ45 heads to go w/ this. Good for the price, but annoying if you're going to be making a lot of patches/shorter runs.

Good price for solid copper Cat5E, but a bit annoying to work with compared to more flexible alternatives.
