Both of these lights received 5.5 hours of direct sunlight upon receiving them. They came on at dusk and were still on as of 5am in the morning. (Both were set to low light mode). Anything brighter would reduce the length of time I am sure. Rest assured, on low, they outshine any other solar lights we have ever owned previously including ones we own now.
I have uploaded a photo of each light where it is placed and shining in two different areas of our backyard. One is lighting up a 2 inch "stumble" step on the sidewalk behind the house leading up to our patio. Works exactly as needed, nicely lighting the step up, preventing possible injury to someone walking along there. The light sits approximately 3 feet from the base of the sidewalk, and then about 6 feet from the wall of the house that you see lit up in the photo.
The second one is aimed at the base of a huge hickory tree with statues placed around the bottom. The distance from the light to the base of the tree is approximately 14 feet. As you can see from the provided photo, the statues are lit up very nicely to enhance our evenings sitting outside.
I have included two photos of the complete owner's manual. Not the absolute best in the world, but I actually did not need the manual to assemble the lights. I did review the manual for the "mode" settings. If you run into any issues, feel free to contact me on Amazon to answer your questions.
Two great solar lights for a great price. Well built with a "huge" solar panel compared to past purchases and other solar lights we have placed around our property. The size is three to six times as large as the other solar panels on various lights those various lights we have.
Both of these solar lights come with a replaceable Lithium battery (watch battery) should it ever need to be replaced.
Included in the box was the two solar lights, two stakes, two packages of anchors and screws (3 of each per package) and the instruction manual. Yes, these lights can also be mounted to other surfaces with provided brackets that are incorporated on the light fixtures themself.
Additional follow-up:
On the second day of charging, both of these lights were still shining on at 5am the following day.

UPDATE:: after approx 9months the light no longer works. Either the betterey has died or something else failed. They fo turn on but are not bright enlugh to read a newpaper from 6” away. Get what you pay for.. I thought they claimed to have a 1 year warranty but I can not find that in the current ones for sale.
Works great. Very bright compared to the older worthless solar lights. Only had 1 day so we shall see how long batt lasts at night but so far very happy

These solar lights were great for the first couple of months and then they started putting out dimmer light, even though they were in full sun and we had them on the highest setting. When fall came we put them in the garage for the winter and brought them back out a few weeks ago. After only a couple days one light stopped working. When we checked it, it had literally burned up!! If you look at the photo you will see what I mean. We didn’t expect the lights to be extremely high quality, but were certainly didn’t expect this! I definitely wouldn’t recommend this product!
Inferior quality and possibly dangerous!
