Fixed Leak and Worth the Convenience

Fixed Leak and Worth the Convenience
One of my lines backed out of a T-coupling 1/4" which caused a leak. I cemented two repair rings against the coupling and the leak is fixed. Without the rings I would have needed to do lots of digging in a very tight space to expose enough line to cut and replace. For me the cost of the rings is absolutely worth the ease and convenience.

Was afraid I’d have to cut the water line to repair the leak. But no! One ring to control them (leaks) all.

Didn’t work for me, but it may for you
Variables include remaining cement/primer, PVC irregularities
Try to avoid by sanding joints to a smooth movement while testing

This little item was a little pricey, but priceless to me, who dreaded the thought of tearing apart my whole manifold all for a seeping T joint. Fixed the problem. Just be sure to clean the area by very lightly sanding, to get rid of old glue, etc. Make sure no glue or sandpaper residue is present after cleaning. I washed after prep, and let dry really well before applying this ring.
