Its great. I didnt think purple shampoos work... i mean they didnt until i bleached my hair ice blonde. It really only works on bleached hair in my experience. Lather it in but not for too long, depending on how toned you want your hair to be!!! I usually later it in for 2 minutes then wash off and it gives me the desired ice blonde. One time i left it in for 10 min and my hair came out looking purple tinged... which ended up being okay because when you dry it, it comes out looking grey silver which is what i wanted that day. At 15 min my hair came out actually purple. But It washes off after a few shampoos luckily. So it really works! It also smells good, and when used in combo with Olaplex shampoo and conditioner, did not dry my hair

This violet shampoo works pretty well. I have used it several times, and have been mostly pleased.

The biggest reason I gave this shampoo 4 stars rather than 5 is because I found that I had to leave it on my hair longer than I am used to for the violet shampoos. The ones I have used in the past have worked within 4 minutes, and I found that this one took about twice as long for the same effect.

On the other hand, the effect was good -- it did take away the brassiness nicely, so in that I am pleased. Would I buy it again? Maybe not, because I don't like to dawdle in the shower for 10 minutes waiting for the shampoo to take effect. But if I had the time for long leisurely baths -- this would work fine. (Maybe I should make the time for leisurely baths...but that's a whole other story, LOL.)

I've only used the shampoo a couple of times, but I swear my hair looks more shiny and less dried out. My hair is colored very light blonde and I always use purple shampoo to tone down the brassiness, but some shampoos have left my hair extremely dry and brittle. It definitely is a shampoo I won't use every wash just because it tones so much, but I'm really happy with the results. only con is that you have to use more shampoo per wash since it is sulfate free, but that is to be expected and doesn't bother me. I wish I had found this shampoo sooner!

I first bought this shampoo months ago and I absolutely loved it! It smells amazing, takes all the brassy yellow tones out, my hair looked so shiny AND it doesn’t stain your hands!! It lasts forever but I eventually ran out :( before I bought it again, I went to get my hair brightened again and the stylist told me not to buy it again.. apparently Fanola No Yellow shampoo was “much better” so I bought the fanola shampoo AND conditioner.. it does not even come close! It stinks! It stains my hands SO bad! And it doesn’t even work as well as Sexy Hair! So.. long story short.. I’ve binned the fanola and I have bought this shampoo plus the conditioner! I will never stray from this product again!! Buy it! You will not get better anywhere else x
