    Very small and lightweight - cost vs value was 'spot-on'. The spool is about the size of the palm of your hand and is extremely well made (as you would expect of a fall restraint!).

    I bought this model without carabiner clips since I already had my own. I would recommend buying the model with a locking style clip on one end the other 'double-action' type carabiner on the other end. Both clips can be swapped to either end of this fall restraint. The lanyard does give you a full 9' of travel with is more than sufficient for working around 'holes' or 'high places'.

    I didn't purchase this as a fall arrestor or lifeline. I purchased this unit as a quick adjustable suspension trainer. The self retracting feature of this webbing line allows me to quickly adjust the length, so I am able to flow through my agonist vs antagonist exercise routine and therefore keep up my heart rate for added cardio training, since I don't have to waste time with the cam buckle adjustment of my prior DIY suspension trainer.

    I pull out to the desired length and then give it a quick tuck to engage the brake, just like a seat belt. When the tension is released, the webbing retracts or can be pulled out further. Quick and easy adjustments, it works as well as I hoped it would and the unit appears to be of high quality.

    I cut off the shock absorption section, sewed on a SS O-Ring and added the cam buckle adjustable handle section. I have made many variations of suspension trainers over the last 20 plus years. This model is not designed to be the most intense unit for bodyweight loaded exercises, for that separate overhead connection points are needed for each of the two handles. However this is the most versatile for ease of use and quick flow, as well as usability anywhere. I have made adapters to attach over a sturdy closed door or any other overhead mounting point, like a railing or tree branch.

    The price of $86.00 was excellent, I think I got a clearance price, as any similar model is at least double that. Thanks amazon.

    The other components: 1 inch polyester webbing, stainless steel cam buckle and 1½ inch stainless steel O-Ring can be found from Strapworks on amazon and your sewing skills. The handles are pieces of PVC conduit.
