Product Description

This carburetor is designed for the street enthusiast and has an adjustable vacuum secondary which is calibrated specifically for optimal street performance. It offers up to 6-percent more acceleration or 5-percent better fuel economy with a simple spring change. It includes a fuel metering system which provides precise fuel metering for great low-end torque, acceleration, and top-end horsepower. It also includes 4 vacuum ports and an adjustable needle and seat to accommodate varying fuel pressure levels. The built-in fuel inlet filters are cleaner, safer, and are used in primary and secondary fuel bowls.

      Bought this as a gift to myself since the price was cheaper than anywhere else at the time. I replaced the 30 year old 4160 I had on my truck with this one and loved it. I needed to use some fuel hose I already had since the included line was a little short but no worries. Also I reccomend throwing the included hose clamps away and using some screw style ones instead. The ones included probably will work but I don't trust them much is all.

      Installed brand new Holley only for it to fail 4 months later. Float is constantly sticking closed and not allowing fuel through...gas tank is brand new and clean. Have read of Holleys build quality not 100% and cast shavings in the bowl. Called Holley and was told out of warranty....90 days for a carb?...and I am on my own and should re-build it....yeah, re-build a brand new carb. Not happy and probably will stay away from Holley products in the future.....
