Purchased this scraper to take glue off of about 200 sq ft of concrete so we could lay down new flooring. Worked very well. Bolts only loosened once so I tightened them a bit more and they haven't come loose since. Much more efficient than scraping by hand.

It's just the right length to use as an ice chipper on outdoor sidewalks. With a freeze / thaw cycle of weather this winter some of the ice is bonded to the concrete. A bit of work but better than the slush created by the chemicals in ice melt.

I couldn't be more disappointed with a demolition tool. Concept is good product design is flawed. Thin wider blade is great for removing the thinset but to many pieces. It has no chance of survival for a complete job. Anyone who purchased this should receive a complete refund. I used it to remove thinset after I removed the tile with a separate chisel. Within 4sq ft one of the bolts snapped in half. Within 10sq ft the rest of it began to break apart. Product needs to be molded in a single cast. Current design is designed to fail quickly. I remodel kitchens and bathrooms every day and have never written a review but I don't want anyone else to waste the money. I had to give it a star to leave the review but it would have 0 otherwise.

I can guarantee you that the negative reviews for this item are from people who don't know what they are doing and are using this in the wrong application. It is extremely well made and robust. I am a contractor and use this on a regular basis and it has held up very well.

The bolts were sheared off the first day it was used. It was used to scrape thinset off concrete slab, which is what its described use is. I purchased stainless bolts and used loctite on them but they still loosened after a short amount of time. Very disappointment in the product.

This worked great for tearing out my tile and removing the thin set from the wood underpayment. If you have a lot to remove, as I did, you will want extra nuts and bolts (high strength) on hand as they eventually start to bust off. I went through about a dozen or so. This scraper worked exactly as I hoped it would.

This is a useful scrapper but the vibration shakes the bolts loose even after switching to locking washer ended up tack welding them on so I wouldn't have to stop every ten feet for adjustments

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for removing flooring

Works great. We used it on commercial construction and removed thinset, ceramic tiles and vct tiles. It is designed for slicing under the tiles, if you try to lift up and there is any resistance, you will snap the blade - it is not designed for prying like that. Works great if used properly and what it is designed for. It is fast and efficient. Also, have the bolt side down, not the nut side, clearance issue and don’t smash the nuts while hammering. Also make sure to tighten the nuts regularly and I would add some locktight and tighten with an impact drill.
