Please take note, in case this item remains up on the Amazon posting. This router bit DOES NOT have the pictured guide bearing. I didn't know this until I received it. Research on the manufacturer's page reveals that the item number followed by a "B" will have a bearing, IE: CMT 851.502.11B does come with a bearing. This bit, with bearing, is available on Amazon for about $4 more.
So my rating is not actually a rating of the tool, but of the posting. Router bits without bearings are legitimate, but it was not what I needed. This actual tool was not tested. I will post a review of the correct bit once received.
Also of note: Amazon will pay for return shipping on such errors. However, don't process the return online by selecting you wish to return and replace...unless you want the very same product. The process of "return and replace" does not allow one to replace with a SIMILAR but DIFFERENT item. In cases like this, one must return and then reorder the appropriate item. Amazon's customer service did straighten out the error politely effectively, even if not very quickly. (it took quite a bit of phone time to work through this)
